港铁轨道交通(深圳)有限公司(以下简称“港铁(深圳)”)是香港铁路有限公司(以下简称”港铁公司”)全资子公司,成立于2004年3月,负责特许经营深圳市轨道交通4号线三十年。

深圳市轨道交通4号线是一条贯穿深圳南北的骨干线路,南起福田口岸,与香港东铁线接驳,北至观澜牛湖,与东莞市凤岗镇相邻,途径福田中心区、龙华中心区及观澜中心区,全长约30.712公里,由一、二、三期组成,设23个车站,1座车辆段(龙华车辆段),1座停车场(观澜停车场)。4号线由南向北分别同轨道交通1号线、2号线、3号线、5号线、6号线、7号线、9号线、10号线、龙华有轨电车示范线以及规划中的18号、22号线换乘,在深圳市轨道交通网中有着举足轻重的作用,市民通过4号线可以换乘到达深圳市其他地方。

Established in March 2004, the MTR Corporation (Shenzhen) Limited (referred as “MTR (Shenzhen)” hereunder) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of MTR Corporation Limited (referred as “MTR Corporation” hereunder) designed to take up the investment, design and construction of Phase 2 of Shenzhen Metro Line 4 (Longhua Line)and the operation of the combined Shenzhen Metro Line 4 Phase I and Phase II for a period of 30 years commencing 16 June 2011.

Consisting of Phases 1 and 2, Shenzhen Metro Line 4 is a 20.5 km double-track urban railway running from Futian Checkpoint at the boundary between Shenzhen and Hong Kong, to Longhua New Town with a total of 15 stations. It is a north-south backbone metro line of the Shenzhen metro network and a vital connection among Hong Kong, Shenzhen and other mainland cities.

Phase 1 of Line 4, consisting of five stations running between Futian Checkpoint and Children’s Palace, opened for service in December 2004. It was financed and constructed by the Shenzhen Municipal Government.

Phase 2 of Line 4 is north of Phase 1 extending from Children’s Palace Station to Qinghu Station. It is approximately 16 km long with 10 stations. The project is undertaken by the MTR (Shenzhen) under a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) arrangement.The service commencement date of Line 4 Phase 2 is 16 June 2011.

The total investment of the project is around RMB6 billion. During the 30 years of the concession period, MTR (Shenzhen) is responsible for all operating, maintenance and asset replacement costs of the whole of Line 4. The Shenzhen Municipal Government will extend appropriate financial support to this project.

Line 4 is a symbolic project which underlines the cooperation and vision of the Shenzhen Municipal Government and MTR Corporation. It will bring efficient and high-quality metro service to Shenzhen and contribute to its closer connection with Hong Kong.

On top of that, the scope of our consultancy business also covers cities across Asia, Australia and the Middle East.

Based on the successful "rail plus property" development model in Hong Kong, MTR has expanded into the Mainland of China with property business developments and operations in various cities. The release of "Tiara" residential units and the openings of TIA Mall in Shenzhen and Ginza Mall in Beijing were well received. MTR also commenced a property project in Tianjin.
